Sofia Margarita Vergara

Sofia Margarita Vergara is a Colombian-American presenter and actress. Vergara was the highest-paid actress on American television between 2013 until 2020.Vergara rose to prominence while co-hosting two television shows for Spanish-language TV network Univision in the late 1990s. Chasing Papi (2003) was Vergara's first significant acting gig in English. Then, she was in Four Brothers (2006) and Tyler Perry's comedy, Come to Jail (2008). She was nominated for an ALMA Award for the former. She first played Gloria Delgado–Pritchett in ABC's comedy series Modern Family, for which she was awarded four Golden Globe Awards, four Primetime Emmy Awards and eleven Screen Actor Guild Awards. Vergara also voiced the characters in animated movies Happy Feet Two (2011). Escape from Planet Earth (2013). and The Emoji Movie (2018). Vergara was the highest-paid Hollywood actress in 2020[citation neededfor 2020[citation needed]. Vergara is the judge of America's Got Talent since 2020. Vergara was born into a Roman Catholic family from Barranquilla. Vergara's mother Margarita Vergara De Vergara was a housewife while her father Julio Enrique Vergara Robayo worked as a cattle rancher within the meat industry. Vergara was referred to as "Toti" by her siblings, as well as a number of cousins. Vergara was an undergraduate at National University of Colombia in dentistry. She left after two semesters to pursue modeling opportunities and show business.
