Rashida Jones

Rashida Jones was born Los Angeles, California to Quincy Jones, a media producer and mogul. Alongside Peggy Lipton, Rashida is the younger sister of actress Peggy Lipton and Quincy Jones. Her older sister is Kidada Jones, and five half-siblings from the other relationships her father has with his children. Her father is African American and her mother Ashkenazi Jewish (a descendant emigrants of Russia as well as Latvia). Rashida was raised in Reform Judaism. She was raised in Bel Air Los Angeles, California. Jones has revealed of her dual race parents, "It was the 1970s and it's not even that acceptable for them to be together." Jones made her debut as a professional actor in The Last Don in 1997 the mini-series based on Mario Puzo. Also in 1997, Rashida graduated from Harvard University. She was a student at the Buckley School in Sherman Oaks (California). The most likely candidate to suffer. The name she uses is Arabic (O+-O'UO-O(c)) to mean "Major adult, grown-up, elder or wise". Quincy Jones III was present in the introduction and sang the lyrics of Shakur's poem "Starry Night." The poem was the source for the song's name. Rashida's father was African-American and also has smaller amounts of English, Scottish, and Welsh and Scottish and Welsh ancestry (some of his African ancestral ancestors came from the Tikar people from Cameroon). Rashida's mom, Ashkenazi Jewish (of Russian Jewish heritage and Latvian Jewish heritage), is Rashida. Her paternal grandparents were from South Carolina and Mississippi, respectively.
