Milena Govich

Milena Govich is an actor director, musician, and actor. She has helmed numerous episodes of TV that include Chicago Med (2015) (211) and The Equalizer (221). She also was the Co-EP/Producing Director on Dick Wolf's CBS series FBI (2018) and has been tapped to direct two pilots that are in development. Milena was one of eight women selected by AFI's prestigious Directing Workshop for Women. She also took part in the Sony Pictures Television Diverse Directors program. Unspeakable was her TV series and short film. Starring Jeff Kober and Laura Vandervoort It was awarded the best episodic award at the Seattle International Film Festival as well as Best Pilot at the SoHo International Film Festival. The short film she made, Temporary (2017) has played all over the country and won the Best Narrative Short at Anthem Film Festival, Best Dark Comedy at Atlanta ShortsFest and the Director's Choice Award at Sedona International Film Festival. Milena has been in over 100 television shows as an actor. She first gained national attention in CBS's Love Monkey (2006), then as the prostitute/con-artist Candy on three seasons of Rescue Me (2004) (Denis Leary/FX). Conviction (2006) was her first appearance on CBS. She later became the first and only female detective in Law & Order (1990). K-Ville (2007), The Defenders (2010) (CBS), Make It or Break It (2009) (ABC Family) and Lori Stevens in the MTV drama Finding Carter (2014) have all featured her or had her in. Milena has been featured in a variety of movies which include Sordid Things (2010); A Novel Romance (2011) as a co-star with Steve Guttenberg; Pass the Light (2015) which starred alongside Method Man; as well as the role of #Lucky Number (2015). A native of Norman, Oklahoma, Milena was valedictorian of high school prior to completing her double major in vocal performance and pre-med with minors in dance and violin at the University of Central Oklahoma, and also being valedictorian of her graduation. Then, she used her classical ballet skills to appear in a show on Broadway in the production of Sam Mendes and Rob Marshall "Cabaret" at Studio 54.
